Job summary

KX in Dublin invites an experienced Principal Architect to join the Forward Deployed Engineering team. You will assess customer environments, design AI-enabled, high-performance data and analytics systems, and drive value across real-time data processing, accelerated computing and infrastructure modernisation.

You will work with top investment banks and exchanges, defend architecture in front of CTOs and platform leaders, and lead production outcomes from concept to deployment while building

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing large-scale data and AI platforms.
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into scalable architectures.
• Track record delivering production AI and high-performance computing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer environments and run architecture/AI-readiness diagnostics.
• Identify accelerated-compute opportunities and prove with data.
• Evaluate AI/agent use cases, feasibility, cost and operations.
• Design a coherent system across KX tech, AI platforms, and client data.
• Map data estate with quants and data owners to leverage data.
• Quantify latency, throughput, scalability, and cost gains.
• Define engagement hypotheses and evaluation framework ahead of build.
• Lead through to production with senior technical leadership.
• Build reusable assets and contribute to product roadmap.
