E-Frontiers in Dublin is seeking an experienced Residential Pricing Analyst to support price setting for electricity and gas for residential customers across the Republic of Ireland. The role is hybrid with 1-2 days onsite per week and a 6-9 month contract starting October 2026.

You will work with Strategy, Product, Pricing, Trading and Finance to base pricing decisions on cost and market data, forecasts and cross-functional input. Strong Excel, analytical and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years in a numerical, pricing or analytical role.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in complex spreadsheets and modelling tools.
  • Experience within energy, utilities or another regulated sector.
  • Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale energy markets.
  • Full legal permission to work in Ireland.
  • Experience supporting pricing systems, testing or UAT.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse detailed price stacks, including customer impact and product pricing analysis.
  • Analyse tariffs for profitability and commercial performance.
  • Conduct competitor analysis across the Irish electricity and gas markets.
  • Provide pricing inputs into sales reports, budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to agree pricing inputs and delivery timelines.
  • Support pricing-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather business requirements for pricing systems and models.
  • Support system testing, test scripts, validation and process documentation.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Residential Pricing Analyst to join a leading organisation within the Irish energy sector. This is a highly analytical role supporting the development and delivery of competitive electricity and gas pricing for residential customers across the Republic of Ireland.

Location: Dublin - Hybrid, 1-2 days onsite per week

Contract: 6-9 months

Start Date: October 2026

The Role

Working as part of an established Pricing team, you will support residential electricity and gas pricing using cost and market-based methodologies and forecasts. You will collaborate with teams across Strategy, Product, Pricing, Trading and Finance to support commercial pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the setting of residential electricity and gas prices.
  • Prepare and analyse detailed price stacks, including customer impact and product pricing analysis.
  • Analyse tariffs for profitability and commercial performance.
  • Conduct competitor analysis across the Irish electricity and gas markets.
  • Provide pricing inputs into sales reports, budgets and quarterly forecasts.

Experience & Skills

  • Ability to analyse complex information involving multiple influencing factors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working within a collaborative team.
  • Full legal permission to work in Ireland.
  • Experience within energy, utilities or another regulated sector.
  • Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale energy markets.
  • Electricity or gas modelling and forecasting experience.
  • Experience supporting system changes, testing or UAT.
  • Knowledge of the Irish energy regulatory environment.
