Job summary

Headcount Solutions is seeking an experienced Residential Pricing Analyst to support pricing strategies for Irish electricity and gas products. You will work with cross-functional teams across pricing, strategy, finance, trading and product development to develop prices, forecast demand and analyse customer impact.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and modelling tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of numerical or analytical work experience.
• Proficient in Excel and computer-based modelling tools.
• Knowledge of electricity and gas tariffs is beneficial.
• Excellent numerical and analytical ability, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop residential electricity and gas prices using cost-based and market-based pricing.
• Prepare and analyse price stacks with price reviews and customer impact analysis.
• Analyse tariffs and pricing structures for profitability and commercial performance.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis in the Irish electricity and gas markets.
• Provide pricing inputs for sales reporting, budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Product, Pricing, Trading and Finance to agree pricing inputs and timelines.
• Support the development, testing and documentation of pricing systems and processes.
• Gather business requirements for pricing models and systems.
• Develop and execute test scripts and validate pricing results.
• Respond to tariff-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop residential electricity and gas prices using cost-based and market-based pricing methodologies and forecasts.
• Prepare and analyse price stacks, including detailed price reviews and customer impact analysis.
• Analyse tariffs and pricing structures to assess profitability and commercial performance.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis across the Irish electricity and gas markets.
• Provide pricing inputs for sales reporting, budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
• Work collaboratively with Strategy, Product, Pricing, Trading and Finance teams to agree pricing inputs, timelines and deliverables.

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and multiple influencing factors.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
