Vantage Ireland seeks a motivated Precision Agriculture Sales Representative to drive growth across Ireland and parts of the UK. The role is full-time and permanent, combining home-based work with a weekly Cork office meeting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in agriculture or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of farming/contracting landscape and customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel within Ireland and occasionally to the UK; full driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full sales cycle from enquiry to sale.

We’re looking for a motivated, experienced sales professional to join us as a Precision Agriculture Sales Representative. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role. You’ll work from home and spend time on the road with customers, mainly across Ireland, with a weekly team meeting at our Cork office.

The Role

You’ll play a key part in growing Vantage’s presence, mainly across Ireland. You’ll work with farmers, agricultural contractors and dealers to understand their operations and match them with the right technology. You’ll be supported by an experienced sales and technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver sales plans to meet and exceed your targets.
• Identify new business and grow Vantage’s customer base.
• Build long-term relationships with farmers, contractors, dealers and industry stakeholders, spotting opportunities for additional products and solutions.
• Understand each customer’s operation and recommend the right technology and equipment.
• Manage the full sales process, from first enquiry through demonstration, quotation and sale.
• Work closely with the wider Vantage team to deliver excellent customer service and support.
• Represent Vantage at agricultural shows, demonstrations, customer events and industry meetings.
• Stay up to date on products, market trends and competitors, and share insights with the management team.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven sales experience (ideally 5+ years)
• A strong understanding of farming and the agricultural contracting sector
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial awareness and a target-driven approach
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently
• Full clean driving licence
• Willingness to travel within the territory, with occasional trips to the UK
• Able to attend a weekly meeting at our Cork office
• Experience in agricultural machinery, precision agriculture or technical sales
• Familiarity with GPS guidance or auto-steering systems
