Job summary

First Flight Creche and Montessori in Furbo is seeking a full-time Pre-School Assistant to join a caring team. Responsibilities include delivering daily room activities for 3.5–5-year-olds, following company policies, and collaborating with a room leader.

PRE-SCHOOL ASSISTANT

First Flight Creche and Montessori are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified pre-school assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. Based in the coastal setting of Furbo, 10km from Galway City, the role is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm/9am - 6pm.

Overall Purpose of Job

The pre-school assistant will participate in the delivery of the daily room requirements for 3.5 - 5year olds, whilst working in accordance to company policies and practices at all times. Must be flexible towards working with other age groups, if required.

Requirements

• Minimum FETAC Level 5 in Childcare
• Minimum 1 year work experience
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
• Complete Garda Vetting
• Current First Aid certification desirable

Salary dependant on qualification & experience, starting at €31,200

Salary based on experience and qualifications.

Own transport desirable due to location, though the creche is on a bus route.
