First Steps Creche Silversprings in County Cork is seeking a Room Leader for 1‑2.5‑year‑olds to join a small full‑day care team. This permanent role offers an hourly rate between €16 and €20, with working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Applicants should have Level 6/7/8 in Early Childhood Care and Education, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a nurturing, caring approach. Please submit your CV and a cover letter to [e-mail].

Position

We are seeking a caring and passionate leader to join our team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Organise and plan daily activities to meet the needs of the 1‑2.5‑year‑old age group.
• Implement a quality early‑childhood curriculum and creative skills to develop age‑appropriate activities underpinned by Aistear and Siolta.
• Ensure the safety, security and well‑being of all children, following TUSLA regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Level 6 – Early Childhood Care and Education qualification (Level 6/7/8 desirable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nurturing and caring approach to supporting the children.

We Offer

Hourly rate: €18 – €20

Hours of Work

Between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
