Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking an experienced PR Account Director to lead client accounts, drive strategic communications campaigns, and manage a high-performing PR team in Galway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media relations, brand storytelling, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to deliver impactful results for clients across industries such as tech, healthcare, tourism, or corporate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic PR plans aligned with client objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term relationships.
  • Lead media relations efforts, including pitching stories, securing coverage, and managing crises.
  • Oversee content creation (press releases, speeches, social media, reports) and ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage and mentor a team of PR executives, coordinators, and account managers.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and media opportunities to advise clients proactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (digital marketing, creative, events) for integrated campaigns.
  • Track KPIs, analyze campaign performance, and report results to clients and senior management.
  • Drive new business initiatives, including proposals, pitches, and networking in the Galway region.
Requirements:
