Job summary

FINN Partners is expanding and seeks an Account Supervisor to manage day-to-day communications and PR for a diverse Irish and international client portfolio. You will shape and execute strategies across food & beverage, health, financial services, transport, sustainability, sports and arts & culture.

We require a well-rounded communicator with expertise from social media strategy to traditional media relations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in PR/communications/marketing/journalism or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Versatile across modern communications, from social media to traditional PR and written communications.
  • Interest in current affairs, digital media and culture, with awareness of trends.

Responsibilities

  • Drive integrated campaigns across multiple channels to achieve client objectives.
  • Craft high-impact content: press releases, op-eds, presentations, letters and speeches.
  • Lead media & stakeholder relations: pitch stories and manage inquiries.
  • Deliver client insights by monitoring trends, coverage and announcements.
  • Power new business: identify growth opportunities and assist with pitches.
  • Oversee and mentor Account Executives on the team.

FINN Partners is expanding and is looking for an Account Supervisor (Account Manager equivalent) to manage the day-to-day communications and PR activities of a variety of Irish and international clients.

Working as part of our high-energy team, you’ll help create and execute communications and public affairs strategies for a dynamic portfolio of Irish and international clients across food & beverage, health, financial services, transport, sustainability, sports, and arts & culture. We are looking for a well-rounded communicator with a diverse skill set across the communications spectrum, from social media strategy to traditional media relations.

The Role

Tailored to your level of experience, key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive Integrated Campaigns: Creating, managing, and executing strategic communications campaigns that demonstrably achieve your clients’ communications and business objectives.
  • Craft High-Impact Content: Write, edit, and produce compelling content across digital and traditional channels, including press releases, op-eds, presentations, stakeholder letters, briefing documents, speeches and multimedia assets.
  • Lead Media & Stakeholder Relations: Pitch stories across national, local, and trade channels, handle media inquiries, and build daily relationships with industry and government representatives.
  • Deliver Client Insight: Monitor and report on social/digital trends, media coverage, government announcements, industry shifts, and new research.
  • Power New Business: Identify growth opportunities, nurture client relationships, assist with pitch proposals, and help client account management run seamlessly.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Overseeing, mentoring, and professionally developing the Account Executives working under your supervision.
Storytelling Ability
  • Background: A degree in PR, communications, marketing, journalism, politics, or business, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • Comprehensive Skill Set: Strong versatility across modern communications, from social media and digital content strategy to traditional PR and written communications, with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Industry Curiosity: An innate passion for current affairs, digital media, and culture, with a keen eye for emerging trends, consumer behaviours and technology.
  • Work Ethic: A proactive, self‑starting mindset with strong organizational skills to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility: Full‑time eligibility to work in Ireland.
