Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Industrial Engineer for Data & Workforce Solutions in Europe. You will design data-driven reporting, support enterprise data ingestion, and drive AI governance across Operations, Technology, Data & AI, and Compliance teams.

You will develop scalable reporting, improve data quality, and deliver insights through Power BI. This role focuses on workforce management, forecasting, scheduling, and analytics to enable intelligent decision-making and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, process engineering, or business intelligence development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
Experience developing reporting and analytics solutions.
Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain data solutions that support operational reporting and workforce management.
Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions.
Support data ingestion, integration, and data quality initiatives across multiple systems.
Partner with Operations and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Contribute to AI governance, data governance, and compliance initiatives.
Create operational performance metrics supporting productivity, service, compliance, workforce management, and customer experience.
Design and support data solutions that enable key Workforce Management capabilities including Forecasting & Scheduling, Time & Attendance Tracking, Performance Management & Analytics, Compliance Monitoring, and Employee Self-Service reporting.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Support testing, implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate closely with customs experts, operations teams, product owners, and technology partners to understand business problems and translate them into analytical solutions.
Present technical recommendations and analytical findings to business stakeholders.
