Job summary
The Ardonagh Analytics Lab in Mullingar is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to design, develop and optimise Power BI reporting solutions that empower leaders to make informed decisions. You will create trusted dashboards and semantic models, collaborating across The Ardonagh Group to turn data into clear business insights.
You will work with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, DAX and SQL to improve performance, governance and documentation, supporting stakeholders through end-to-end reporting
Qualifications
- Proven experience developing and supporting Power BI solutions in a commercial environment.
- Strong expertise in: Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, T-SQL, semantic data modelling and dashboard performance optimisation.
- Advanced T-SQL development experience including CTEs, window functions, temporary tables, table-valued functions, complex query design and optimisation, stored procedures and SQL views.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, visually engaging, high-performing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Translate business requirements, KPIs and stakeholder needs into impactful reporting solutions.
- Create drill-through experiences, interactive visuals, filters and navigation features that enhance user experience.
- Partner with UX/UI colleagues to apply established branding, design standards and best practices.
