Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1within UCD School of Geography.

MigHealthGaps is an European Research Council (ERC)-funded project led by Associate Professor Silvia Loi, that investigates health disparities and healthy aging trajectories between immigrants and non-immigrants. The core research objectives of the project are: measure health and aging trajectories of immigrants by age, gender, and socioeconomic status across European countries, as compared to non-immigrants; analyse how family composition and ties impact or mitigate these health gaps; identify specific socioeconomic shocks or life circumstances that divert immigrants onto poorer aging trajectories.

This is an academic research role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
Salary: €47,273- €53,925 per annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
