Job summary

Coimisiún na Meán is hiring a Policy Manager to lead evidence-based policy development and analysis addressing children in the media landscape. You will oversee the Youth Advisory Committee and support cross-team collaboration within the Policy, Research & Strategy Division.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver high-quality briefing materials for internal and external audiences. Hybrid work is offered in Dublin.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in policy development, policy analysis and research relating to children.
• Experience managing and coordinating statutory or senior-level committees.
• Experience preparing communications for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of issues affecting children and young people in the media landscape.

Responsibilities

• Undertake evidence-based policy development, including research and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide project management support and coordinate external/internal stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate An Coimisiúns Youth Advisory Committee.
• Represent An Coimisiún in external fora.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and advisory groups.
• Prepare briefing materials, speaking points and presentations for senior staff.
• Line management and mentoring of one team member.
• Support effective team communications and operations.
