Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment seeks a Project Manager to set up a PMO for a growing Sligo company. You will develop integrated project schedules, define milestones and dependencies, and align plans with manufacturing requirements.

You will manage multiple projects, track progress, and prepare dashboards and governance updates for senior stakeholders, enabling effective decision-making.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Science, Operations or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience in PMO, project controls/planning, engineering, manufacturing, pharma, biotech or another regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of PMO, project governance, scheduling and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities.
• Skilled in project schedules, dashboards, risk and action tracking.
• Strong reporting and communication skills for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Strong problem-solving, with the ability to identify risks, dependencies and resource constraints.
• Effective stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated project schedules across site projects.
• Define key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and critical paths.
• Align project plans with site priorities, resources and manufacturing requirements.
• Work with site teams to minimise disruption to manufacturing operations.
• Track project progress, readiness, schedule changes and key decisions.
• Prepare dashboards, status reports, risk logs and governance updates.
• Coordinate governance meetings, actions, escalations and follow-ups.
• Support project prioritisation using schedule, resource and risk insights.
• Ensure consistent project management tools, templates and reporting standards.
