Job summary

Respond Housing Association is seeking an Early Years’ Educator to deliver a high-quality, play-based curriculum in Respond Early Years’ Service, Island Key, East Wall, Dublin 3. The role supports children’s development in a nurturing setting and collaborates with a dedicated childcare team.

The post reports to the Early Years’ Service Manager and runs 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a full-time permanent contract. Garda Vetting is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Early Years Education.
• Experience in early years settings.
• Garda Vetting required as part of recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the service policies and procedures at all times.
• Conduct observations and learning stories for all children.
• Organise materials reflecting children's interests and abilities.
• Implement a play-based curriculum that promotes independence and self-esteem.
• Support children's emotional, social and cognitive development.
• Assist in providing healthy snacks meeting dietary requirements.
• Develop parental involvement strategies.
• Ensure the welfare of children under Children First guidelines.
• Promote the service in the local community and broader area.
• Perform other duties as required.
