Job summary

Respond! is seeking an Early Years’ Educator for Respond Early Years’ Service, Island Key, East Wall, Dublin. This full-time permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri, and pays €15.41–€19.09 per hour, with a focus on high-quality play-based education under Aistear and Síolta.

You will guide and supervise children, observe development, and collaborate with a caring team to provide a safe, inclusive learning environment. Garda vetting is required during recruitment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Early Years Education.
• Experience of working in early years.
• Garda Vetting will be required as part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Follow service policies and procedures at all times.
• Conduct observations and learning stories for all children.
• Organise materials reflecting children's emerging interests and abilities.
• Implement a play-based curriculum that fosters independence and self-esteem.
• Support children's emotional, social and cognitive development.
• Assist in providing healthy snacks and accommodate dietary needs.
