Job summary

Cisco Software Solutions (CSS) is building a new tools team to drive consistency, reliability and observability across our World. As an experienced developer with an operations mindset, you’ll work on data center and cloud infrastructure at scale, helping to mature lifecycle automation and tenant/operator facing features.

You’ll collaborate with a distributed team, use agentic AI tools, and contribute to the design, implementation and operation of distributed software across OpenStack/Kubernetes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related field.
• 3+ years of software development with an operations mindset.
• 1+ years of cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP/OpenStack/OpenShift).
• 1+ years of Docker and/or virtualization experience.
• 1+ years of CI/CD or DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maturity of lifecycle automation, observability and operability.
• Unify or retire tools and build new tenant or operator facing functionality.
• Collaborate with a distributed, diverse team to ship scalable platforms.
• Agentic AI tool usage will play a significant role day-to-day.
