Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Software Engineer to help build, operate, and advance the distributed compute platform that supports internal development teams across the company. This is a hybrid role with opportunities to design, develop, test, and operate services, taking ownership of problems and driving resilience and scalability.

You will collaborate across the full software lifecycle, contribute to engineering practices, and participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience with solid fundamentals.
• Experience building production backend software in Go, Java or Python.
• Experience building and operating software on cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience owning technical work from implementation through production support.
• Experience diagnosing production issues with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features and improvements to reliable distributed services.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability, scalability, and operability.
• Support internal teams by answering questions and providing sample code and patterns.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
