Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Platform Architect 2 in Ireland to join Infrastructure Design Engineering. Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of network, operating system principles and web middleware.
• Advanced knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls.
• Working knowledge of database technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (public/private).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and users to ensure high level requirements are met.
• Produce TADs, technical documents, logical flows, and models to align stakeholders.
• Maintain architectural artifacts in current state and prevent obsolescence.
• Resolve internet architectural and operational problems impacting infrastructure availability and performance globally.
• May lead regional projects including planning, time and cost control.
• Implement, manage and support internet infrastructure components per standards.
