Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Platform Architect 2 to join Infrastructure Design Engineering in Ireland. You will shape infrastructure and platform architecture, align with security, scalability and availability standards, and deliver high-level design documents.

You’ll work with application teams and internal stakeholders to capture needs, generate TADs, and ensure architectural products stay current while evaluating new technologies for global Mastercard infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of network, operating systems and web middleware.
• Advanced knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Experience with YAML-based deployments.

Responsibilities

• Generate requirements with architects and teams to ensure high-level needs are met.
• Create TADs, technical documents, and models to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Maintain architectural products and prevent obsolescence.
• Resolve internet architectural and operational issues impacting availability.
• Research and evaluate new technologies for Mastercard infrastructure.
• Lead regional projects with planning and resource management.
