Job summary

Briggs Equipment Group in Portlaoise is seeking a Construction Plant Fitter to service, repair and maintain a variety of plant equipment. You will work closely with the service supervisor and departments to ensure an efficient process and high safety standards.

The role requires diagnosing faults, maintaining an organized workspace, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. A strong background in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principals, plus good communication, is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar role.
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals.
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of plant equipment.
• Working closely with the service supervisor and all departments to maintain an efficient process.
• Diagnosing specific fault issues and actioning appropriately.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
