Job summary

Laois Hire, part of The Briggs Equipment Group, is seeking a Mobile Generator Fitter in Portlaoise to service and repair rental equipment both on-site and at the depot.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on generators and pumps, preparing equipment for hire, and conducting performance testing to ensure reliability. A relevant technical qualification and prior generator experience are highly valued.

• Relevant technical qualification.
• Experience working on generators and pumps.
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals.
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication skills.
