Job summary

ICDS (UK) Ltd in Rathcoole, Dublin area is seeking a Junior Plant Fitter to join our team on a major infrastructure project. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing construction plant and equipment, diagnosing faults, and keeping accurate service records to ensure smooth operation on site.

You will work with a range of plant and machinery, support site teams with plant-related issues and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience as a Plant Fitter / Mechanical Fitter.
• Experience working with construction plant and machinery.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant trade qualification preferred.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Ensure plant and machinery is maintained safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Our client, a leading construction contractor, is seeking a Junior Plant Fitter to join their team based in Rathcoole, Dublin.

The successful candidate will be involved in supporting a major infrastructure project at a large-scale operational facility in Greenogue, working with a wide range of construction plant and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Plant Fitter with 3-4 years' experience to develop their career within a busy construction environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring plant and machinery is maintained, serviced and operating efficiently to support the successful delivery of ongoing project works.

Key Responsibilities:
