Job summary

Jones Engineering in Cork seeks an experienced Planner to develop and maintain construction schedules for mechanical and electrical projects in Cork and Limerick. You will work with Project Managers to ensure budgets, resources and timelines are aligned and updated.

The role requires a minimum of five years post‑qualification experience, strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and the ability to visit other project locations as needed. A relevant third‑level qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a M&E contracting environment.
• Primavera P6 software experience required.
• Strong analytical and scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction schedules for agreement with client with PM.
• Fully resource/cost loaded schedule.
• Maintain construction schedule and track progress.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with project team.
• Monitor budgets for scope changes.
• Generate weekly construction reports.
