Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Ireland is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to carry out maintenance, repairs, installations, and capital replacement projects within a mechanical team. You will keep engineering areas pristine and ensure work is completed safely and per site policies, with accurate CMMS logging.

The role requires a QQI Level 6 Pipe Fitting craft qualification, 5+ years’ industrial experience, strong teamwork and communication, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft qualification in Pipe Fitting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical ability, including the interpretation of engineering drawings, templates, schematics and related documentation.
• Experience with mechanical process plant and associated maintenance activities is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email and other information systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements, responsibilities and statutory obligations.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within Ireland when required.
