Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant and equipment on site.
• Learn operation and requirements of all plant to understand and resolve production issues.
• Assist in setup and operation of preventative maintenance program for all machines.
• Work with Electro-Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems.
• Fabricate, assemble, and fit metal components using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Weld components using different welding techniques.
• Work with automated control systems.
• Maintain and improve mechanical services across the site.
• Record job requests and job completion.
• Comply with good maintenance practices and safety standards.
• Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Team.
• Demonstrate good communication skills.

Job Description

To assist the maintenance team in specific areas outlined below with particular emphasis on all, process improvements, health & safety, quality control and optimisation.

• Maintenance and repair of all plant and equipment on site.
• Learn the operation and requirements of all plant to be able to understand and resolve production issues.
• Assist in the setup and operation of preventative maintenance program for all machines.
• Work with Electro-Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems.
• Fabricate, assemble, and fit metal components using appropriate techniques and equipment.

• Work on heavy-duty, industry specific, mechanical equipment.
