Job summary

M and S Cotter Construction, Building & Civil Engineering in Ireland is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to install and maintain piping systems across major utilities and industrial sites. The role requires reading drawings, measuring and cutting pipes, and assembling sections to specification across project sites near Ennis, Co.

Clare, with travel to other locations as needed. Ideal candidates will have hands-on welding, soldering and joining experience, plus the ability to test piping for

Qualifications

• Experience in pipe fitting for utilities and construction environments.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Experience with welding, soldering and joining piping.
• Willingness to work across multiple project locations.

Responsibilities

• examines drawings and specifications to determine layout of piping.
• measures and cuts required lengths of copper, lead, steel, iron, aluminium or plastic piping using hand or machine tools.
• installs pipes for heating, ventilating, fire prevention, water and similar systems in industrial and construction settings, including oil rigs and terminals, sewerage systems and other mains networks.
• fits piping into position and joins sections by welding, soldering, cementing, fusing, screwing or by other methods.
• tests pipe work for leaks and makes necessary adjustments.

Job Description

Pipe Fitters install pipe systems and maintain and repair pipes in major utilities, industrial and construction settings and sites.Tasks required by this job include:-

• - examines drawings and specifications to determine layout of piping;
• - measures and cuts required lengths of copper, lead, steel, iron, aluminium or plastic piping using hand or machine tools;
