Job summary

Responsibilities include reading drawings, cutting, beveling, assembling, and operating fabrication machinery and tools, while ensuring material traceability and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant fabrication or metalworking qualification, or demonstrable equivalent practical competence.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and cutting lists.
• Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel materials.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and cutting lists.
• Measure, mark out, cut, bevel, and prepare pipes and metal materials.
• Fabricate pipe spools, supports, brackets, frames, and components.
• Assemble components to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely.
• Identify stainless steel and carbon steel materials to avoid cross-contamination.
• Check dimensions against approved drawings.
• Coordinate with pipe fitters and QC personnel.
• Maintain material traceability and housekeeping.
