Jomivic Recruitment Agency in Ireland is seeking a Coded Pipe Welder – Stainless Steel & Carbon Steel to join a field welding team in Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary. You will perform high-quality pipe welding, interpret isometrics, and verify joints to WPS and project specs.

Required experience includes TIG, MMA, MIG, FCAW processes and a valid EN ISO 9606-1 or comparable qualification, with SOLAS Safe Pass where applicable. On-site work with safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• Relevant welding qualification or demonstrable equivalent practical competence.
• Valid welding qualification to EN ISO 9606-1 or ASME Section IX where specified.
• Qualification appropriate to process, material, pipe dimensions and position.
• Experience in stainless steel and/or carbon steel pipe welding per assigned work.
• Ability to understand and follow WPS requirements.
• Valid SOLAS Safe Pass where required for the worksite.

Responsabilités

• Perform pipe welding using TIG/GTAW, MMA/SMAW, MIG/GMAW, or FCAW as required.
• Read and interpret piping isometrics, welding symbols and WPS.
• Prepare and verify pipe joints including bevels, root gaps, alignment and cleanliness.
• Carry out root, fill and cap passes per approved procedures.
• Ensure welds meet quality and inspection requirements.
• Prevent contamination when welding stainless steel and cooperate with QC/NDT personnel.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow site safety procedures.
