Job summary

Kilfilum Limited in Ennis, Co. Clare, is seeking a Full-time Pig Farm Assistant to join the unit responsible for the health and welfare of pigs across breeding to finishing stages. The successful candidate will possess good communication skills and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

You will work as part of the unit team to maintain high animal welfare and biosecurity standards in daily husbandry tasks and herd monitoring on a busy farm site.

This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the health and wellbeing of pigs through daily husbandry tasks, monitoring of pig herd and general day to day pig unit activities across all stages of the pig unit, frombreeding to finishing. The successful applicant must possess good communication skills. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required for this position. The successful candidate will work as part of the unit team and will be required to strive to maintain high animal welfare and biosecurity standards.
