Job summary

Spectrum Health in Limerick is seeking a Physiotherapist to work within a multidisciplinary team, with hybrid in-clinic and digital delivery and local corporate cover days. Flexible for full or part-time hours.

You will assess and treat neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, develop treatment plans, educate patients, document notes, and liaise with GPs. CORU registration and ISCP chartered membership are essential; private practice experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy is essential.
• CORU registration is essential.
• Chartered membership of ISCP is essential.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients who have neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, face-to-face and digitally.
• Independently assess, diagnose, develop treatment plans, and provide treatment.
• Educate patients on prevention and management of conditions.
• Administrative tasks: notes, reports, statistics, payments, receipts.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals promptly and meet with GPs/referrers.
• Support marketing to generate new patients and participate in study groups.

We’re currently looking for a Physiotherapist to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team both digitally and in person in Limerick in addition to local corporate cover days. We are open to applicants who are looking for full or part-time hours.

Location: Limerick

Hours: Hybrid Role –
Flexibility offered for additional digital hours

Days: Monday to Saturday available, flexible schedule offered

Salary: €38,850-€55,125 FTE + 40% commission per quarter (based on quarterly target)

• Limerick - 2 days per week in Shanabooly within the Laya Health & Wellness clinic
• 1 day per month in the VHI Dooradoyle clinic
• Onsite Corporate physiotherapy (ad hoc)

What is the role and what will my responsibilities be?

• Work with patients who have a range of conditions, primarily neuro-musculoskeletal including ergonomics,face to face and digitally
• Independently assess, diagnose, develop treatment plans, and provide treatment accordingly
• Educate patients about how to prevent and/or improve their conditions
• Admin responsibilities: clinical case notes, reports, statistics, managing patient payments and issuing receipts
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals in a timely manner
• Conduct meetings with local GPs and potential referrers
• Assist the marketing team in generating new patients
• Part-take and facilitate in internal study groups
• Report stock levels and equipment repairs to the Operations Executive
• Meet continuous education requirements and maintain an up-to-date CPD folder
• You may be required to create content and blogs
• You may be required to work with the marketing team and provide them with on the ground feedback
• Other ad hoc duties as required
