Job summary

Spectrum Health in Cork is seeking an MSK Physiotherapist to join our AHP team on a contractor basis. The position covers Cork, Fermoy/Mitchelstown with a focus on adult MSK caseload, delivered in person across clinic sites.

The role is a fixed-term engagement of one to five months, with an immediate start. You will work in a patient-centred setting, delivering assessment, treatment and education, including app-based rehab support.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (essential)
• CORU registration (essential)
• Chartered membership of ISCP (essential)
• Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential)
• Relevant MSK private practice clinical experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work with patients who have MSK conditions.
• Independently assess, diagnose, develop treatment plans, then provide treatment.
• Educate patients on prevention and improvement.
• Use app-based rehab to support patient goals.
• Manage medical case notes, reports, statistics, and receipts.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
• Conduct meetings with local GPs and potential referrers.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

About The Role

The successful candidate will manage a predominantly adult MSK caseload, delivered in person across one or more of our clinic sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients who have a range of conditions, mainly MSK based.
• Independently assess, diagnose, develop treatment plans, then provide treatment accordingly
• Educate patients about how to prevent and/or improve their conditions
• Use app-based rehab to support patient goals
• Be responsible for medical case notes, reports, statistics, managing patient payments and issuing receipts
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals in a timely manner
• Conduct meetings with local GPs and potential referrers
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required
