Job summary

Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Staff Grade Physiotherapist to join a Paediatric Primary Care Team based in Dublin West. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering family-centred care to children and young people with developmental, neurological and physical needs.

Qualifications

  • Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • CORU registration is mandatory.
  • Previous paediatric placement or relevant experience is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards.

Job description

Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is currently recruiting a Staff Grade Physiotherapist to join a Paediatric Primary Care Team based in Dublin West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Physiotherapist to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, family-centred care to children and young people with a wide range of developmental, physical, and neurological needs. You will have the opportunity to develop your paediatric skills while working alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative environment.

The Role

As a Staff Grade Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Assess, treat, and manage children with developmental delays, neurological, musculoskeletal, and physical disabilities.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based, individualised treatment programmes to support each child's functional goals.
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide education, advice, and support to children, families, carers, and schools.
  • Deliver therapy in clinic, home, educational, and community settings where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE standards and contribute to service development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • CORU registration.
  • Previous paediatric placement or experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full driver's licence and access to a car is desirable.
