Job summary

SK pharmteco is seeking a PhD Chemist for its R&D centre in Swords, Co Dublin. The role focuses on development, transfer, scale-up and process safety for small molecules, with cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Quality and EHS.

Qualifications

• PhD in organic chemistry is required.
• 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in route development and scale-up.
• Familiarity with data monitoring and process validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects in the lab, including route scouting and crystallisation.
• Provide technical support to API manufacture with a focus on optimisation and investigation.
• Identify and implement process optimisation projects considering scale-up and CQAs.
• Utilise PAT tools (e.g., Raman, IR) for data-driven development and monitoring.
• Coordinate tech transfer for new products and ensure campaign readiness.
