Job summary

Force is seeking dynamic Pharmacy Sales Representatives to promote pharmaceutical products to retail pharmacies across the West of Ireland. This contract role covers sick leave with immediate start, building relationships with pharmacy owners, managers and staff to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will educate on product benefits, negotiate promotions and ensure product visibility while achieving targets. Regular travel across the West of Ireland is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in retail/pharmaceutical sales desirable.
• Strong understanding of retail pharmacy operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Full, valid driver's license and willingness to travel West of Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell products to retail pharmacies within the West of Ireland territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with pharmacy owners, pharmacists and retail managers.
• Provide product education, including therapeutic benefits and usage.
• Negotiate pricing, shelf placement and promotions with retail partners.
• Conduct regular visits to retail pharmacies to ensure visibility and availability.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the retail pharmacy sector.
• Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain records of sales, customer interactions, orders and follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and company standards in all sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell company products directly to retail pharmacies within the assigned West of Ireland territory.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with pharmacy owners, pharmacists, and retail managers.
• Provide product education, including therapeutic benefits, proper usage, and competitive advantages.
• Negotiate pricing, shelf placement, and promotional opportunities with retail partners.
• Conduct regular visits to retail pharmacies to ensure product visibility and availability.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy sales or pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of retail pharmacy operations and product positioning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Full, valid driver's licence (essential, as the role involves regular travel across West of Ireland territories).
