Job summary

Meaghers Pharmacy Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Meaghers Pharmacy team in Dublin. You will work with experienced Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists and support staff in a positive, development‑oriented environment.

The role involves dispensing prescriptions, handling paperwork and delivering excellent customer service, with opportunities for ongoing training and career progression within our Meaghers Pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• Hold an approved Pharmacy Technician qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Community Pharmacy in Ireland (newly qualified welcomed).
• Experience with Mc Lernons MPS.
• Experience with MDS.
• Fluency in English.
• Authorized to work in Ireland.
• Strong product and dispensary process knowledge.
• Be personable, a team player, motivated with strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills and passion for a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing and preparing prescriptions.
• Prescription control and managing paperwork.
• End of month claim paperwork.
• Over the counter sales, delivering expert advice and customer service.
• Dispensary housekeeping.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Meaghers Pharmacy team.

The new Pharmacy Technician will enjoy working with consistent teams of experienced Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists, our Superintendent Pharmacist and other Support Staff. Main Duties and Responsibilities for Dispensary Technicians:

• Dispensing and preparing prescriptions.
• Prescription control and managing paperwork.
• End of month Claim Paperwork.
• Over the counter sales, delivering expert advice and customer service.
• Dispensary house keeping.

Skills and Experience for role:

• Hold an approved Pharmacy Technician qualification.
• Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a Community Pharmacy in Ireland, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with Mc Lernons MPS .
• Experience with MDS.
• Fluency in English.
