Job summary

Uniphar is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for the O'Malleys Life Pharmacy in Limerick City. This 32-hour, four-day-per-week role operates within the Allcare O'Malleys store, with pharmacy operations running 8.30am–7.30pm on weekdays and Saturday hours from 9.30am–5.30pm.

The successful candidate will dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock levels, prepare blister packs, and assist with claims processing while supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous, new graduates welcome.
• Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing processes is preferred.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or higher certificate is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required.
• Prepare blister packs and process/track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
