Littlepace Pharmacy in Clonee, Dublin 15, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or an Experienced Dispensary Assistant to join a friendly, community-focused team. We invest in our team's future and may support the Technician qualification for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Pharmacy Technician (Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of regular dispensing experience within an Irish community pharmacy dispensary.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Accurately preparing, dispensing, and labelling prescription medications under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist.
• Managing dispensary stock, ordering, date-checking, and maintaining optimal stock control.
• Handling paperwork, claims, and monthly scheme submissions (GMS, DPS, LTI, etc.).
• Providing clear, professional customer service and handling patient queries in person and by phone.
• Maintaining dispensary hygiene, organization, and strict adherence to PSI regulations and pharmacy SOPs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Littlepace Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician or an Experienced Dispensary Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

Whether you are already a qualified technician or have at least 2 years of hands-on dispensary experience and are eager to advance, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, community-focused dispensary team. For an experienced dispensary assistant showing strong aptitude and commitment, support towards completing the formal Pharmacy Technician qualification may be considered following a successful qualifying period.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately preparing, dispensing, and labelling prescription medications under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

• EITHER: Fully qualified Pharmacy Technician (Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies or equivalent),
• OR: Minimum of 2 years of regular dispensing experience within an Irish community pharmacy dispensary.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude with an enthusiasm to learn, upskill, and work well within a collaborative team.
