Job summary

Uniphar's McCauley Carrick On Suir Pharmacy in Carrick-on-Suir, Ireland, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour, 5-day permanent position. You will support the Pharmacist, dispense medicines, manage stock and prepare blister packs in a busy dispensary environment.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome, and experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage. IPU or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies would be a plus. Uniform provided and company discounts apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians are welcome.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as required.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
