Job summary

Uniphar's McCauley Bawnogue Pharmacy in Clondalkin seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join a small, focused team. The role is a 40-hour, 5-day permanent position, with duties including dispensing under supervision, stock control, blister packing, and claims processing in a busy dispensary.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome; prior experience with McLernons MPS is a plus. Competitive hourly rates and a supportive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians are welcome.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
