Job summary

Uniphar Group's McCauley Bawnogue Pharmacy in Clondalkin is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour, five-day week on a permanent basis. The role dispenses medicines under supervision, handles stock and blister packs, and supports the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Experience in a busy dispensary is an asset; newly qualified technicians are welcome. McLernons MPS experience and the IPU/Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians are welcome.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
