Job summary

Uniphar Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Hickey's Ballyfermot to join a 24-hour (3-day) permanent schedule. The team includes a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support and 5 Technicians, with manageable items and services.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply. Role responsibilities include precise dispensing under supervision, stock control, blister packs, claims processing, and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicines under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required by store needs.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
