Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Monasterevin is hiring a Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor for a part-time, permanent role. You will deliver excellent customer service, provide product information across all ranges, and support the Managing Pharmacist in line with Allcare standards.

The role requires good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a busy pharmacy setting. Cash handling and teamwork are essential, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality is preferable.
• Cashier experience an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to use discretion when addressing customer queries and to treat customer/patient information confidentially.
• Good attention to detail is essential.
• Organised with a proven ability to multi-task successfully under pressure.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice to customers across all product ranges in the Pharmacy.
• Maintain good stock control including rotation of stock and ensuring delivery details are correct.
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times.
• Work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable.
• Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with colleagues.
• Fulfil requests for OTC medicines using appropriate questioning and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Adhere to security procedures with cash handling.
• Keep the Pharmacy clean and address Health & Safety issues promptly.
• Participate in training and development programmes.
• Perform any other duties as required.
