Job summary

Apleona GmbH is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management at a pharma site in Cootehill, Co Cavan. This hands-on role coordinates day-to-day operations, oversees hard and soft services, and ensures regulatory compliance, budgets, and health & safety obligations are met.

You will drive operational excellence, oversee PPM and reactive works, manage contractors, and build strong client relationships while developing on-site teams for succession

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing facilities in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical building services.
• Experience with cGMP & cGDP environments.
• Excellent financial and contract management skills.
• Proven health & safety expertise and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site facilities management activities, delivering services to regulatory and client standards.
• Maintain H&S responsibilities for all activities and ensure targets are met.
• Take full P&L responsibility for all Apleona activities and targets.
• Oversee hard and soft services, ensuring equipment is operational and compliant.
• Manage contractors, tenders, and service agreements.
• Monitor preventive maintenance and reactive works impacting the business.
• Ensure adherence to site policies and drive change controls where needed.
• Maintain auditable records for maintenance activities.
• Develop and lead on-site teams with succession planning.
• Provide formal reports to clients and regional teams.
• Support ad hoc projects as required.
