Job summary

Occupli is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Cork to recruit a Production Operator. The role focuses on adhering to GMP, maintaining documentation accuracy and supporting daily production activities within a highly regulated environment.

You will work alongside Quality, Engineering and other functions to ensure compliant, safe and efficient operations and contribute to a Right First Time culture through precise execution of manufacturing tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a pharmaceutical, life sciences, GMP or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of GMP principles, SOPs and controlled documentation.
• Experience working with production records, batch documentation or similar quality-controlled systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Ability to identify and escalate quality, safety or process issues appropriately.
• Comfortable working as part of a production team in a regulated environment.
• Good computer skills; SAP experience would be advantageous.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production activities in line with approved procedures and manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor production processes and carry out routine in-process checks and controls.
• Complete production records, batch documentation and associated records accurately and in real time.
• Carry out routine quality and process checks as required.
• Support sampling activities and liaise with Quality teams where required.
• Identify and promptly report any process abnormalities, deviations or quality concerns.
• Maintain high standards of GMP, hygiene and housekeeping across production areas.
• Clean production equipment and work areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure materials are correctly identified, handled and stored.
• Follow all site safety procedures, risk assessments and environmental requirements.
• Use appropriate PPE and safety equipment at all times.
• Contribute to investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives where required.
• Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Engineering and other site functions to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Support a strong Right First Time culture through accurate execution and documentation of manufacturing activities.
