Job summary

Next Generation in Dublin is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to contribute to pharmaceutical manufacturing systems. The role focuses on MES configuration, implementation, troubleshooting and system support within a GMP-regulated biopharma environment.

Candidates should have hands-on MES knowledge, exposure to platforms like Emerson Syncade, Werum PAS-X or Siemens Opcenter, and strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills for digital manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

Experience in MES, Manufacturing Systems, Automation or related engineering disciplines.
Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical environments.
Knowledge of MES and electronic batch records (EBR).
Experience with MES configuration, implementation, troubleshooting or system support.
Familiarity with MES platforms such as Emerson Syncade, Werum PAS-X, Siemens Opcenter or equivalent.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, automation systems and digital manufacturing technologies.
Experience with SAP, DeltaV, LIMS or system integration would be advantageous.
Knowledge of CSV, GMP documentation and change control would be beneficial.
Exposure to MES recipe development, system upgrades, NPI or continuous improvement projects.
Strong problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
