Job summary

Catalyx are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team and work shift on our customer site in Cork on a 12 month contract. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will require a working knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures in our customer's pharmaceutical tableting production facility.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant industrial experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
• Level 6 qualification is advantageous.
• Technical/engineering background is advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficient with MS applications.
• Demonstrates safety orientation and adherence to safety practices.
• Detail oriented with a can-do attitude towards customer delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work on routine assignments following established SOPs, Master Batch Records and cGMPs.
• Perform tasks related to aseptic processing, dispensing, compaction, granulation, milling and coating.
• Report issues affecting line performance to Operations Lead.
• Perform more complex troubleshooting unassisted.
• Clean and assemble equipment for production (manual and CIP).
• Execute detailed SAP and MES transactions to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Clean manufacturing area, including walls, ceilings and floors.
• Complete and maintain documentation including log books and batch records.
• Act as a point of contact for compliance audits.
• Operate drum coater and compression equipment or roller compactors.
• Dispense ingredients for batches.
• Update MBR manufacturing batch reports.
• Handle manual product movements – loads and unloads of tablets.
• Deliver on KPIs and metrics.
• Other duties as requested.
