Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team on a customer site in Cork. The role operates on a 2-Shift Cycle and supports automated pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment within a regulated environment.

You will resolve engineering issues, perform planned maintenance, update the CMMS, and work with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability (OEE) and compliance with cGMPs. Applicants should have Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate with at least 5 years GMP

Qualifications

5+ years of GMP experience in a regulated environment.
Proven maintenance experience in automated manufacturing.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment operations, MTBF and root cause analysis.
Effectively participates in cross-functional teams.
Experience in Food, biotech, or pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

Resolve day-to-day engineering issues and advice regarding compliance queries.
Support the Continuous Improvement process by pursuing ways to improve equipment performance and reliability (OEE).
Work on routine assignments following SOPs and cGMPs.
Maintain and review existing maintenance tasks and procedures to ensure they are up to date and accurate.
Report accurately on all equipment downtime.
Coordinate maintenance on critical systems/equipment with Manager.
Comply with all safety regulations.
Perform planned maintenance activities and update the CMMS accordingly.
Partner with a team of Engineering and maintenance personnel including external contractors.
