Job summary

Sanofi is offering a Manufacturing Operations Intern position in Waterford. You will join the Lyophilisation (Lyo) team and gain hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on daily operations, GMP compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work with experienced colleagues, develop problem-solving and technical skills, and contribute to documentation and audits while learning from mentors in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant technical degree and returning to university after the internship.
• Comfortable using Word, Excel and PowerPoint for daily tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations in GMP-compliant activities.
• Assist with preparation, review and updating of procedures and training material.
• Help maintain records and prepare documentation for quality reviews and audits.
• Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focusing on safety, quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and other departments on projects and issues.
