Sanofi in Waterford is offering a Quality Assurance Intern position to join the QA team and gain hands-on experience supporting documentation, archiving, batch release records, and quality audits in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

You will work with different systems and colleagues across Quality and other departments, contributing to continuous improvement while learning GMP requirements and standard operating procedures on site.

Qualifications

• Be currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences and be returning to university after completing the internship.
• Have an interest in the pharmaceutical industry and in developing your knowledge of Quality Assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to your work.
• Confidence using computers and an ability to learn new systems and digital tools.
• A willingness to learn, ask questions and take initiative as your knowledge develops.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams.

Responsabilités

• Support the preparation, review and archiving of Quality Assurance documentation.
• Upload batch release documentation to internal systems and support the associated archiving activities.
• Help maintain well‑organised records and working areas in line with quality and 5S standards.
• Support monthly quality audit walkthroughs and preparation activities for GMP audits and inspections.
• Take part in daily and weekly Quality team meetings, giving you exposure to how day‑to‑day quality operations are managed.
• Work in line with Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, Standard Operating Procedures and site safety expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Quality and other departments while contributing ideas and supporting continuous improvement activities.
