Job summary
AbbVie in Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrician to perform planned and unplanned maintenance across aseptic manufacturing, filling and packaging lines. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of Fitters, Engineers and Technicians, applying reliability-centered maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure compliant operations.
The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of automated equipment (PLCs, HMIs, robotics and SCADA), strong problem-solving skills, and flexibility for shift work
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting in automated pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems.
- Proficient with SAP to manage maintenance and spare parts.
- Willingness to work shifts and travel to vendors as required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned/unplanned maintenance on manufacturing, filling and packaging equipment using RC M approach.
- Troubleshoot and fault-find automatic and semi-automatic equipment and improve processes.
- Support equipment projects from design to install and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain KPI tracking and participate in audits.
